Wine Review: This midnight black colored Petite Sirah from Peachy Canyon opens with a black cherry, vanilla and damp earth bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a mineral and oak influenced black plum with hints of boysenberry, tea and green olive. The finish is dry and its fine moderate tannins are nicely prolonged with a touch of heat at the very end. The Panel suggested pairing this versatile Petite Sirah with beef wellington or burnt ends. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Inky purple in color, this opulent Petite Sirah leads with aromas of cocoa, anise, pepper, cherry, plum, and blackberry popping from the glass. The tannins on the palate are round and expansive, accentuated by ripe blackberry, lilac, and an exceptionally ripe blackberry finish.
