Wine Review: This opaque and inky purple colored Petite Sirah from Pedroncelli is a good value wine. It opens with a new shoe leather, cedar and espresso bouquet with hints dark plum and blackberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced with medium plus acidity. The flavor profile is dark chocolate and blueberry blend with notes of cherry, plum and cedar. We also detected hints of vanilla-cola. The finish is dry and its flavors and moderate tannins drift away nicely. This is perfect wine to have with a juicy double bacon burger or smoked brisket. Enjoy – Ken and Mark

Winemaker Notes: Deep dark purple in the glass. Our full bodied Petite Sirah offers up aromas of blueberries, red plum and black pepper. Deep and complex flavors of blueberry, black cherry, and vanilla follow. There is nothing "petite" about this wine and it is well structured with firm tannins, spice and a smoky finish. It has the structure to age well over many years.
