Wine Review: This clear and pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Pedroncelli opens with a gooseberry bouquet with hints of lychee and asparagus. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and a bit zesty. The flavor profile is a green bell pepper and tangy white grapefruit blend with notes of white pepper and lime zest. I also detected hints of tonic water and chalky minerality. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger nicely. I would pair this Sauvignon Blanc with a mushroom and asparagus risotto. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Intense aromatics and ‘very varietally correct’ quips our winemaker. True to the Sauvignon Blanc grape, the bouquet has notes of lemongrass, citrus and guava. Tropical fruits and citrus flavors of pineapple and grapefruit blend nicely. Light bodied with a crisp, refreshing finish. Please enjoy upon release or within a year or two as no aging is required.
