Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Merlot from Napa Valley opens with a fragrant Acai berry and blackberry bouquet with hints of leather and dark chocolate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused blueberry with notes of boysenberry and red currant. The finish is dry and its flavors linger for a little while. This is a very good Merlot to serve with food. A homemade meatloaf was the first thing that came to my mind. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our estate grown Merlot is a luscious wine with plum, black currant, cola, anise and vanilla in the nose and on the palate. Blended with a small amount of Malbec, the texture is soft and full with gentle, well developed tannins in the finish. This is the perfect choice for stews, pork, lamb and sausages.
