Wine Review: This white gold colored Chardonnay from the Pellet Estate opens with a fragrant and attractive pineapple and honeydew melon bouquet with hints of lemon and white peach. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium acidity. The edges are rounded, and the wine is easy to drink. The flavor profile is a mild mineral influenced lemon verbena and Anjou pear blend with a hint of pineapple mixed in. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. This very good Chard would pair well with a pan-seared halibut with a lemon butter sauce. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Bright, slightly golden hue. Generous and distinctive nose; pear-like with a touch of stone fruit (apricot), lemon/lime, and mineral. Rich and crisp palate. Rounded edges and smooth throughout, especially the finish. This wine benefits from 6 months of bottle aging, and is best be consumed within 5 years of release.
