Wine Review: This white gold colored Pinot Grigio from Peter Zemmer opens with apple cider and pineapple bouquet with hints of honeysuckle and tangerine. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balance, round, and slightly lush. The flavor profile is almond, Anjou pear and mild honey blend with notes of pineapple and stony minerality. We also detected some hints of white tea and oak. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot Grigio from Alto Adige with a pan-fried walleye. Enjoy – KWGTP
