Wine Review: This white gold colored Pinot Grigio from Peter Zemmer opens with a Bosc pear and green apple bouquet with hints of jasmine and lemon verbena. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and delicate. The flavor profile is a gentle poached pear and green apple blend with notes green tea and baking spices. We also detected some hints of white pepper, almond and lemon. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would suggest pairing this Pinot Grigio with rainbow trout almondine or with steamed mussels. Enjoy - KWGTP
