Wine Review: This medium straw-colored Soave Classico opens with a honeydew melon a sandalwood bouquet with hints of lemon verbena and toasted almond. On the palate, this wine light plus bodied with zesty acidity. It is very well-balanced, slightly creamy, smooth, and layered. The flavor profile is an Anjou pear, white pepper and green tea blend with nicely integrated oyster shell minerality. We also detected some lingering hints of lime, ginger and saline towards the finish. The finish is dry and fades way nicely. This is a very versatile white wine and super food friendly. We would pair it with a pan-seared Chilean sea bass with lemon caper butter or roasted game hen. Enjoy – Ken and Mark
