Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Grenache based wine from Pierre Dupond opens with an inviting earthy, red raspberry and plum bouquet. The medium plus body is smooth, dry, bright, and juicy with balanced tannins and acidity. The flavor profile carries over from the bouquet with red raspberries, black cherry, black tea, light plum, and pepper along with hints of black licorice. The dry extended finish is pleasant and fades away nicely. I would recommend pairing this Cotes du Rhone rec blend with a hearty beef stew. - Joe

Winemaker Notes: Deep ruby purple in color, this 2020 La Renjardière expresses an intense nose of black fruits, raspberry, sweet spices, and white pepper. Rich and generous on the palate, with silky tannins and a beautiful length.
