Wine Review: This wine was one of my favorite Chateaunneuf du Papes that I reviewed at this year's Boston Wine Expo. It is very dark ruby colored and opens with a mild red raspberry and red currant like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, well balanced, and very concentrated for the vintage. The flavor profile is a very spicy red currant and blackberry blend. The finish is rather dry and its moderate tannins sail on for quite a while. This CDP would pair very well with a pepper encrusted steak. Enjoy – Ken
