Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Pike Road opens with a faint cranberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a light plum with notes of gentle minerality and faint oak. I also detected hints of black pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. This Pinot is very good and a nice wine for the money. While not overly complex, it is food friendly and would pair nicely with a Cuban sandwich. Enjoy - Ken
