Wine Review: This opaque and dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Pina is very good and has an Old-World twist to it. It opens with a fragrant cedar bouquet with hints of new leather and cassis. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a very tasty black currant with notes of black cherry and cedar plank. I also detected hints plum and minerality. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins build up a bit and drift away nicely. I would pair this Cab with a rib roast. Enjoy - Ken
