Wine Review: This light straw-colored blend of Chenin Blanc and Viognier opens with a Chamomile tea and honey blend with notes of mango, white grapefruit and peach pit. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and round. The flavor profile is a quince and apricot blend with notes of white pepper and guava. I also detected some hints of saline, lime and tangerine in the after taste. There is a freshness to the finish as the flavors and acidity linger nicely. This good value white blend would pair well with an apricot-glazed halibut. Enjoy – Ken & Dave
