Wine Review: This straw-colored Chardonnay from Prosper Maufoux opens with a faint ripe pear and gentle vanilla bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a tasty gentle mineral influenced light lemon with notes of faint almond butter and white peach. The finish is dry and its flavor drift away nicely. This Chard is very food friendly and versatile. It will pair nicely with several foods. I would pair it with chicken piccata. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Pale gold color. A sustained nose with flinty and stony notes. Elegant with aromas and flavors of white stone fruit & minerals supported by citrusy acidity.
