Wine Review: This clear and straw colored Friulano from Puiatti opens with a pink grapefruit and kumquat bouquet with hints of sea breeze and lime zest. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, and slightly viscous. The flavor profile is juicy white peach and lemon iced tea blend with notes of grapefruit and steeped green tea. I also detected hints of tarragon and dried almonds. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. I would pair this Friulano with trout almondine. Enjoy - Ken
