Wine Review: This 10-year-old Tawny Port is brown colored with a hint of red. It opens with a fragrant brown sugar bouquet with hints of walnuts. On the palate, this wine is full bodied and balanced. The flavor profile is a molasses and rum blend with notes of oak and walnut. We also detected hints of caramel and brown sugar. The finish is dry and its does a very good job of containing the alcohol. The Panel suggested sipping this very nice Tawny Port with slice of pecan pie and a cigar. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The Quinta do Vallado 10 year-old Tawny is rich, nutty aromas are a blend of dried fruit, praline and orange confit, with notes of tobacco. The palate is voluptuous and velvety with a complex finish. A terrific after-dinner drink, this Port is the perfect accompaniment to dried fruits, nuts and cheese.
