Wine Review: This opaque and deep ruby colored blend opens with a black cherry and blueberry bouquet with hints of cassis. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is exceptionally well-balanced, super smooth and velvety. The flavor profile is black currant and chalky minerality blend with notes of gentle oak and blackberry. We also detected hints of black tea and mocha. The finish is dry and its refined and polished tannins linger and last for a very long time. The Tasting Panel would pair this Red Wine with a porterhouse steak. Enjoy – KWGTP

Intense aromas of cassis, black cherry, and raspberry intermingle with savory notes of sage and thyme; the 2018 Quintessa continues to unfold as notes of dark chocolate, graphite and fresh tobacco mingle with the fresh fruit. Precise and dense, the wine shows supple tannin that play with flavors of black cherry, dark chocolate, and crushed rocks.
