Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with a fragrant yellow grapefruit and stone fruit bouquet with hints of gooseberry, tangerine, and thyme. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with nicely integrated acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, and creamy. The flavor profile is gentle yellow grapefruit and chamomile tea blend with notes of yellow peach and stony minerality. We also detected some hints of ginger and saline. The finish is dry, and its acidity and flavors are nicely prolonged. The Tasting Panel would pair this Sauvignon Blanc with king crab legs or a fisherman's stew with roasted garlic crostini.
