Wine Review: This ruby colored Syrah from Qupe is very good. It opens with a boysenberry and oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a blend of plum, black raspberry and minerality blend with notes of oak. I also detected hints of boysenberry and a dash of black pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors show nice length. I would pair this tasty Syrah with sausage stuffed mushrooms. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: The 2014 is a classic, cool climate Syrah, with rich notes of spiced blackberry and a peppery finish. This wine pairs beautifully with robust pulled pork dishes, and is ready to drink upon release, or will age gracefully over next 8-12 years.
