Wine Review: This white gold colored Marsanne based blend from Qupe opens with a musty apple bouquet with a hint of matchstick. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, round and juicy. The flavor profile is a chamomile tea and green apple blend with hints of mild minerality, peach pit and a touch of lemon verbena. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Marsanne would pair well with grilled mahi-mahi. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This 2015 is typically fresh, crisp and with that nice mineral age that reminds me of the way the street smells after a rain. Perfect as an aperitif, or with lighter fare.
