Wine Review: This medium ruby colored Grenache based wine opens with a ripe strawberry and blackberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and juicy. The flavor profile is a black raspberry and plum blend with notes of strawberry and oak. I also detected some hints of black pepper, blackberry, and anise mixed in. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins build-up and stick around for a while. This wine would pair nicely slow cooked braised short ribs. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: There's nothing quite like the smell of Grenache, especially when it's farmed organically from the famous Rossi Ranch. A medley of wild strawberries, gardenias, milk chocolate, warm earth, iron ore, smoked meat, pine trees and pepper transition into a palate full of red fruits, crushed minerals, and baker’s chocolate. Pairs with a rack of lamb or a pan-roasted veal chop with roasted root vegetables.
