Wine Review: This "Unwooded" pale straw colored Chenin Blanc from South Africa is very good. It opens with lime zest and walnut like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied and slightly acidic. The flavor profile is a tasty mild mineral infused lemon verbena and ginger blend with a touch of yellow grapefruit. The finish is dry, pleasant and refreshing. This wine will be a crowd pleaser and very food friendly. I would pair it with grilled scallops. Enjoy - Ken
