Wine Review: This pale straw colored dry-styled Riesling from the Finger Lakes opens with a ginger and nectarine bouquet with hints of lime zest, petrol, ripe pear and light floral. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with zesty medium-plus acidity. The flavor profile is a ginger and tart Granny Smith apple skin blend with notes of quince. We also detected hints of lime zest, minerality and peach. Its acidity and flavors fade away nicely on the finish. This good value Riesling is food friendly. We would pair it with crab cakes or chicken piccata. Enjoy – Ken and Mark

Winemaker Notes: The 2017 Dry Riesling has even less residual sugar than the past few vintages at 3 g/l, but you'll be unlikely to notice this because of the crisp, juicy orchard fruit. This vintage contains 52% White Springs Vineyard grapes and 48% from 16 Falls Vineyard. It opens with exotic citrus notes and floral aromatics. It is extremely refreshing and enduring. A lovely Dry Riesling that will also age gracefully for those who enjoy a more, complex and rich, dry Riesling.
