Wine Review: This translucent rust colored Rose opens with a light strawberry, lime and clementine bouquet. The medium bodied palate is smooth, juicy and slightly dry with a somewhat elevated acidity level. The flavor profile is a blend of strawberry, lime zest and orange peel with notes of melon and minerality. The lime zest carries through on the crisp finish. I would recommend pairing this Pinot Rose from the Finger Lakes with a lightly fried fish sandwich on a ciabatta roll with tartar sauce. - Joe

Winemaker Notes: Made from 100% Pinot Noir, this Rosé from limestone soils, is lively, floral and delicate. It’s intensity for such a pale wine is derived from the saline minerality, light orange zest and refreshing acidity. As it opens, a subtle red berry and white pepper note is completed by a soft, dry finish.
