Wine Review: This is a slightly non-typical Argentinian Malbec. It is an opaque deep purple and has a bouquet of savory smoked meat, ripe plum, dark chocolate and spice. The palate is moderated and silky smooth, with a medium-plus body and juicy medium acidity. I found flavors of mineral infused plum, dark cherry and baking spice. There are some gentle tannins in the long dry finish. It would go well with a plate of smoked brisket with BBQ sauce. – Mark
