Wine Review: This medium gold colored Riesling from the Finger Lakes opens with Vaseline and quince bouquet with hints of green apple, lychee, almond paste. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, round and juicy. The flavor profile is flinty mineral and Anjou pear blend with notes of white pepper. We also detected hints of endive and white grapefruit. The finish is dry and lingers nicely. The Panel would pair this Riesling with monkfish piccata or with fried whole belly clams. Enjoy – KWGTP
