Wine Review: This pale white gold colored Riesling from the Finger Lakes is a terrific value. It opens with a candied ginger and slightly musty bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, nicely balanced, round, soft and off-dry. The flavor profile is a very tasty sweet tea with notes of lemon. I also detected some hints of ginger, apricot and quince mixed in. The finish displays a mild sweetness and drifts away nicely. I would quaff this Riesling on a hot summer day. Serve it slightly chilled with fried scallops. Enjoy - Ken
