Wine Review: This almost clear colored Riesling from Red Newt opens with a jasmine and white tea bouquet hints of eraser and lime. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, delicate, and clean. The flavor profile is saline and lime blend with notes of white tea, chalky minerality, and lemon verbena. We also detected some hints of white pepper and nectarine. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity fade away nicely. The Tasting Panel would serve this easy to drink Riesling with baked Dover sole or raw oysters. Enjoy – KWGTP
