Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored GSM from Australia opens with a blackberry and black pepper bouquet with hints of black cherry and black licorice. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round and fresh with concentrated fruit. The flavor profile is a drunken cherry and black licorice blend with notes of cedar and blackberry. I also detected some hints of black pepper, clove, and nutmeg. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity and tannins stick around for a very long time. I would drink this bold GMS on its own by the fireplace this winter. With food, I would pair it with a sharp cheddar cheese. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Our "Red Wine of the World," is a red blend is sourced from famed regions of southern Australia, the Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale. Consisting of Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro, Transit 3 is bold yet nuanced. Vibrant nose with scents of berry basket, chocolate covered strawberries and fresh mint. Intense strawberry/raspberry on palate, along with ripe apricot. Extremely soft tannins give the spotlight to lush, bright fruit.
