Wine Review: This pale straw colored “Dry” styled Riesling from the Finger Lakes opens with a Bosc pear and faint honeysuckle with a hint of ginger and white peach. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty green apple and chalky minerality blend with notes of honeydew melon. I also detected some hints of green tea and kiwi mixed in as well. The finish is dry and refreshing. This Riesling would pair nicely with swordfish steak. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Citrus pith, lime juice, crunchy mango, and candied ginger on the nose, with hints of honeysuckle and earthy undertones. Blood orange in the mouth, with more ginger and floral notes. Mouth filling, slight phenolic edge with talcy finish extended by a prominent acid spine.
