Wine Review: This slightly cloudy and dark ruby colored Barbera opens with a black raspberry and oak bouquet with a hint of blackberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slight acidic and savory. The flavor profile is a mineral infused black olive with notes of mild blackberry and black plum. I also picked up a hint of macerated black cherry and blueberry. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Barbera is built for food. I would pair it with rabbit stew with olives and rosemary. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Intense, ruby red. Bouquet of ripe fruit with an undercurrent of spices. Full flavor with long persistence.
