Wine Review: This hazy and dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Resonance opens with a pomegranate and cherry bouquet with hints of oak, strawberry, and clove. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is dense, rich, fresh, and zesty. The flavor profile is a spiced black plum and black tea blend with notes of black cherry, black pepper, loam, and stony minerality. I also detected hints of clove, pomegranate, and black raspberry. It is pretty-complex. The finish is very dry, and its flavors, acidity, and dusty tannins show very nice length. This big boy Pinot Noir would pair well with a pan-seared duck breast in a port wine sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A beautiful ruby color and an intense aromatic complexity, with aromas of strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, rose, black tea. The wine is harmonious in mouth, with nice tannic structure, fruity aromas, and a refreshing finale.
