Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Zinfandel based blend opens with a red cedar and moist pipe tobacco bouquet with hints of blackberry in the background. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a blackberry and black plum blend with notes of nutmeg and oak. We also detected a hint of black olive at the very end. The finish is dry and its tannins build-up and stick around for a very long time. We would decant this wine and enjoy it with a well-marbled ribeye. Enjoy – Ken & Dave

Winemaker Notes: Blackberry, pepper and licorice notes on nose. Full-bodied with ripe plum, well integrated tannins and long, lingering finish.
