Wine Review: This bright yellow colored Chardonnay from Riley’s Rows opens with a Bartlett pear and ripe banana bouquet with hints of lemon verbena and pineapple. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, round, and bright. The flavor profile is a tasty lemon verbena, chalky minerality, and green apple blend with notes of banana and gentle oak. I also detected hints of chamomile tea and pineapple. The finish is dry, and its flavors are nicely prolonged. I would pair this Chard with a toasted lobster roll. Enjoy - Ken
