Wine Review: This pale salmon colored Rose from Riley's Rows opens with a fragrant strawberry and ruby grapefruit bouquet with hints of banana, red cherry & lavender. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty strawberry and red plum blend with notes of stony minerality. We also detected hints of ruby grapefruit, lime, spice, & saline. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and faint tannins drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would swirl this wine in the glass as aeration it really brings out the best in this young wine. We would pair this Rose with shrimp cocktail without the sauce and or with a ginger pork stir fry. Enjoy – KWGTP
