Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chardonnay from Riley's Rows is very good! It opens with a pineapple and Bartlett pear bouquet with hints of oak and Juicy Fruit gum. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, smooth, and rich. The flavor profile is lemon verbena and pineapple blend with notes of chalky minerality and light oak. I also detected hints of green apple, white peach, and dash of white pepper. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger nicely. Theresa gave this Chard a thumbs up on Mother’s Day! I would pair it with Emeril's crab cakes. Enjoy - Ken
