Wine Review: This clear pale white gold colored Sauvignon Blanc from Riley's Rows opens with a mellow gooseberry bouquet with hints of faint lime, white grapefruit, and peonies. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated moderate acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, polished, and pleasantly mouthwatering. The flavor profile is gentle gooseberry and light lime blend with notes of green melon and pink grapefruit. We also detected hints of cucumber and white peach. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity drifts away nicely. This is certainly a wine that you can quaff at the beach. With food we would pair this versatile Sauvignon Blanc with baked haddock or with a mixed grilled seafood skewer. Enjoy - KWGTP
