Wine Review: This deep purple colored Pinot Noir from River Road opens with an earthy black cherry, blackberry and oak bouquet. I also detected a hint of black licorice. On the palate, it is medium to full bodied, smooth, slightly creamy, refined and fruity. The flavor profile is a black cherry-cola and blackberry with vanilla notes. I enjoyed its overall structure. Its sticky tannins lingered nicely on the extended finish. I would pair this Russian River Pinot Noir with an herb encrusted rack of lamb. - Joe

Winemaker Notes: This elegantly smooth, yet complex Pinot Noir is medium bodied, It has blueberry aromas and Bing cherry flavors. Subtle vanilla lingers on your palate for a delicate finish. This Pinot will pair well with braised lamb shanks and all salmon dishes.
