Wine Review: This ruby colored Zinfandel from Biale is very good. It opens with a mild blueberry and plum bouquet with some earthy scents as well. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, velvety and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a tasty mild boysenberry with notes of red plum. We also detected hints of white pepper and blueberry and a touch of cocoa. The finish is dry and its mild tannins and flavors drift away nicely. This Zin is a real quaffer. The Panel suggested a juicy mushroom cheddar burger or lamb kabobs. Enjoy - KWGTP
