Wine Review: This deep purple colored Petite Sirah from Robert Biale opens with a mild molasses and blueberry bouquet with hints of black licorice, strawberry, and lavender. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is very well balanced, super smooth, and thick. The flavor profile is a mild molasses, oolong tea, and licorice blend with notes of cherry cola. We also detected hints of dried strawberry and fig. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and refined tannins drift nicely. We would pair this Petite Sirah with a cigar. With food, we would pair it with a venison steak. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Inviting and warm tones on the nose with notes of blueberry, black olive, pastry, and cardamom. Broad across the pallet with flavors of coffee, blackberry, marzipan, and baking spices the wine is completed by tannins finely woven by the additional time in barrel.
