Wine Review: This translucent and ruby colored Zinfandel from Robert Biale opens with an inviting mild cranberry and red cherry bouquet with hints of peach, violets, and black tea. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is wonderfully balanced, very smooth, and seamless. The flavor profile is a black plum and stone dust blend with notes of boysenberry tea and cinnamon. We also detected hints of cedar, spice, and a touch anise. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and refined moderate tannins are nicely sustained. We would pair this Zin with a grilled porterhouse steak. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Aromas of violets, blackberry, sandalwood, and slate on the nose. Driven by balanced acidity, the 2023 R.W. Moore shows exceptional depth with flavors of raspberry preserves, cedar, baking spice, and black bramble fruits on the palate. Finely grained and elegant tannins frame this heritage Zinfandel.
