Wine Review: This deep purple colored Petite Sirah from Robert Biale opens with a mulberry and black cherry bouquet with hints of baking spice, Iris, and brownie batter. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and has nice tension. The flavor profile is a stewed black plum and flinty minerality blend with notes of black tea and cassis. We also detected hints of anise lingonberry, oak, and chocolate. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and its medium tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this Petite Sirah with steak kabobs. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Aromas of blackberry, pastry, coffee, and cardamom on the nose. Driven on the palate with flavors of clove, black plum, fig preserves, and wet slate. Elegant, mouth coating tannins frame this wonderfully complex Napa Valley Petite Sirah.
