Wine Review: This pale straw colored Sekt Brut Riesling from Robert Weil was well liked by the Tasting Panel. It is pale straw colored and displays tiny streaming bubbles. It opens with a bread dough bouquet with hints of faint lemon and violet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied and balanced. The flavor profile is a pleasant chalky minerality with notes of almond, green apple, lime and a hint of grapefruit. The finish is dry and rather refreshing.
