Wine Review: This medium purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a black cherry, vanilla and licorice bouquet with hints of teaberry and rum raisin ice cream. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic and very fruit forward. The flavor profile is Luxardo cherry and Madagascar vanilla blend with notes of fig. We also detected hints of Captain Morgan and stewed black plum. The finish is dry and its flavors, tannins and a touch of heat linger. The Panel primarily would choose to sip this Cab and smoke a cigar with it by the firepit. Those that prefer food would pair it with beef braciole or beef bulgogi. (Re-reviewed on 8/27/22 - Really opened up and improved. Raised Score!) Enjoy – KWGTP
