Wine Review: This medium purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a black currant and wet stone bouquet with hints of spiced black plum, lavender and Dr. Pepper. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is stony mineral and ripe plum blend with notes of cola and boysenberry. We also detected hints of black tea and dark chocolate. The finish is dry and its fine tannins last for a very long time. The Panel thought this Cab was a great sipper. With food, they would pair it with a New York steak strip. Enjoy – KWGTP
