Wine Review: This opaque and dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Rocca is Excellent! It opens with a complex blend of aromas featuring mild cherry and eucalyptus with hints of blueberry, plum and cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied with medium acidity. The flavor profile is a mild black currant and graphite blend with notes of black tea. We also detected hints of herbs, dark chocolate, cedar and anise mixed in as well. The finish is dry and its managed tannins build up and last for quite some time. The Panel described this Cab as terroir driven and Bordeaux like. They suggested pairing it with a New York strip steak. Enjoy - KWGTP
