Wine Review: This single vineyard Chardonnay from Rodney Strong is a medium yellow colored and opens with green apple, pineapple, toast and caramel aromas, along with grassy and floral notes. On the palate, it is fresh and clean, with medium-plus body and medium-plus acidity. I also found it to be round, creamy and balanced. The flavor profile is a mineral infused green apple, along with hints of lime zest, mild oak and caramel. The finish is mineral-driven and nicely extended. Open a bottle of this Chard with your weeknight grab-and-go rotisserie chicken. – Mark
