Wine Review: This clear and very dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Rodney Strong opens with a red currant and cedar bouquet with hints of craisin and red plum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, bright, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is red plum and mocha blend with notes of cinnamon and tart craisin. I also detected hints of red raspberry tea, stony minerality, and cedar. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and medium tannins linger nicely. I would pair this Cab with Chinese spareribs. Enjoy - Ken
