Wine Review: This white gold colored sparkling wine from Roederer Estate opens with medium streaming bubbles opens with a bread dough, lemon and honeydew melon bouquet. We also detected some hints of green apple and wet slate as well. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, pleasantly frothy and nicely balanced with crisp medium acidity that is clean. The flavor profile is a lemon and green apple blend with notes of ginger and minerals. We also detected hints of almond and sour dough bread. The finish is dry and pleasantly refreshing with nice length. This sparkler would pair very nicely with grilled scallops or coquilles St. Jacques. Enjoy – Ken & Mark

Winemaker Notes: Roederer Estate Brut is crisp and elegant with complex pear, spice and hazelnut flavors. It is fresh and lightly fruity with great finesse and depth of flavor.
