Wine Review: This robust Malbec from Rubus is a slightly cloudy deep purple color. It has a dark cherry, dark plum, smoky peat and green peppercorns bouquet. It is fruity and balanced in the mouth, with a medium-plus body and medium acidity, and is smooth. I found rich flavors of black plum, oak and blueberry along with hints of raisin and anise. The finish is long and features managed dusty tannins. I would this Malbec with a char-grilled garlic and rosemary butterflied lamb. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: This Icon Malbec is suave and rich, offering loads of dark plum, currant and dried blackberry flavors supported by notes of soft spices. Molten chocolate notes emerge on the mid-palate, with Asian spice accents. The finish is long and ripe with a loamy character. Pair with grilled red meats, roast lamb, pizza or pasta dishes.
